The children felt the
force of air hitting their faces. There were shouts from inside the
small room where they were sitting nervously. The floor moved and shook from time to time and they felt strange vibrations. They could also hear the wind whistling by outside. They were there
for a few hours before reaching their destination: Bonanza City. The
small craft had taken off from the rest of the school and flown
there. Finally the airship stopped and floated about four meters in
the air. Everyone stared at the ground that seemed so far away
from them. No one dared to jump out until a boy named Nacho with brown
hair made his way to the door and jumped down without any problems.
Seeing that he had jumped down so easily more people started jumping out until there were none left.
Everyone was excited and running around the deserted town that looked just like the ones in the old cowboy movies until one of the girls saw a stone with an inscription on it. The girl´s name was Mireia and she was the smartest student in the class. As she inspected the stone more people joined her to look at what it said until a fairly large group had formed. Seeing so many children were grouped in the same place Augustine came and looked at the inscription. The students then looked at him and asked what it meant. He inspected it a few more minutes and realized that it was a mathematical language and it was written upside down. Augustin began to look at the inscription with a very strange face until he said, "It means that this city was once inhabited but because of some bad decisions the town failed. The Bonanzonians attempted to found a new civilization but since they weren´t successful they left a small diary in the house there about ten meters away. In the diary there is a record of all the things they did wrong so that if someone else ever came to try again they could avoid making the same mistakes."

Augustine looked at the house and started walking towards it as a cloud of dust blew past and covered him with a thin layer of the powdery, orangish-brown soil. He climbed the stairs and opened the wooden front door which made an unpleasant creaking noise as it opened. Inside was a small room with a table and four chairs. On the old table was a book that looked like it would fall apart if it were touched. Augustine blew a thick layer of dust from the cover and its color changed from gray to bright red. It had a yellow ribbon marking a page. The children´s teacher opened the book to where the ribbon was and began to read.

The first thing that we did wrong was give all the power to a single member.
You may have noticed that there are four chairs. You must choose four young people
to lead this new civilization. This is a very important decision so I wish you luck.

Augustine began thinking about who could be selected for the board of Bonanza.
Soon he had made a decision. He called everyone into a meeting in what would soon be
their dining hall. All the kids were talking loudly and moving about
until Augustin yelled, "Your attention please. Everyone quiet!" When everyone had
quieted down he said, "I read the Book of the Bonanzonians and
it said that we should make a town council for Bonanza. I have chosen four of
you to be our leaders. Again all the children started talking at once and again Augustin
had to shout to get the kids to quiet down. Finally he said, "The four people
I have chosen to be our leaders are..."
